Overview:

Responsibilities:

- Perform system backup and recovery

Experience:

Healthcare client in the Nashville, TN area is seeking a .Net developer / intern to work on a temporary basis for them, doing user application development for their internal staff. This is a newly created position; this intern will be responsible for developing desktop applications to be used by internal employees (with the possibility for web development as the internship progresses). Intern must have experience and be knowledgeable in .Net development, connecting to a SQL database, and a familiarity with stored procedures, parameters, and interpreting result sets. As there are currently no .Net developers on staff, this intern needs to be a self-starter and feel very comfortable developing without much direction; a person who needs to be micro-managed will not do well in this role.

In our sales process we typically construct a demonstration database for a prospect using the prospects data. When a system is sold, we assist customers in construction of their database. As Optimal4 applications are enhanced with resulting database modifications, we port customer databases forward to the new structures.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Constructing sales databases
• Aiding in and constructing customer databases
• Porting customers and demonstration databases forward into new applications structures
