Sr. Data Analyst
Data is rarely perfect. We are looking for data analysts who will ensure we have the best data for client marketing insights. You will support the development of databases which power complex marketing analytics studies for our clients.

You will be working in a new and exciting area of marketing analytics where the data you touch will tell the story and become part of an actionable insight, where data helps marketing professionals understand how the world around them works.
What you''ll be doing:
Please note the expected duties are not limited to a typical BI, ETL or data analysis or reporting.
You will have the opportunity to grow in a number of areas - to hone your technical skills, develop an ability to communicate content of the data, learn time management and project management, and contribute to solving complex problems for our clients.
*Client Delivery: Successfully deliver products and insights for our clients and ensure robust and efficient data integration and updates for long term client engagements
*Innovation: Help drive improve processes and tools, and contribute to best practices and internal development projects
*Data and Project Management: Manage work streams and priorities for projects with a focus on optimal data development and integrity.
*Methodology Development: Contribute to MarketShare''s portfolio of internal tools and client facing products providing new analytical functionality and process efficiency
*Interdisciplinary Leadership: Interact with clients and internal teams to provide and improve our end-to-end solution
*Marketing: Gain a deep understanding of how marketing works across a wide range of channels, clients, and industries
*Culture: Promote our collaborative and positive working environment and share knowledge and experience with other team members
Skills, Talents, Experience you will need:
*Passion in quantitative data work and programming, including database development, data validation, automation of data processing, techniques to define data profile and get validate consistency and reliability of the content.
*2+ years of experience working with diverse and large source data files.
*Proficient in SAS Base, SAS ETS, SASSTAT, EG, SAS Server, SAS SQL, and SAS Macro development.
*Proficiency in Excel, specifically using Pivot table, lookups, and chart functions.
*Knowledge of VBA, R, Tableau C++, Java are pluses.
*Strong curiosity in the business and technologies of marketing and analytics.
*Understanding of relational database technologies and SQL.
*Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Perl.
*Experience in working with large sets of diverse data sources.
*Ability to detect potential issues with data at the beginning of the process.
*Talent for visualizing data and dealing with ambiguity and providing possible clarification.
*Bachelor''s Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, marketing analytics, economics or other applied engineering and sciences.
